Legal

We believe customers deserve to know exactly who is behind the software they trust with their business. This page identifies the legal entity that owns and operates AskZoye, where it is registered, what it does, and how to reach a real person if you ever need one. If anything here is unclear, email legal@askzoye.com.
AskZoye is independently owned and bootstrapped. It was founded by Iqbal Azeem and is operated as a sole proprietorship registered in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. There are no outside investors, no parent companies, and no controlling shareholders. Strategic and product decisions are made by the founder, who also bears legal responsibility for the business.
We chose to build AskZoye as a small, focused, founder-owned company because the alternative — chasing growth at any cost — tends to produce software that treats customers as line items. That is not the company we want to build.
AskZoye builds and operates an AI-powered customer service platform for online stores running on Shopify and WooCommerce. We provide:
We are not a marketplace, a reseller, or a payment service provider. We are a software vendor — customers pay us directly for access to the platform.
AskZoye is headquartered at the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP) Special Technology Zone in Lahore, Pakistan, and operated from there. The platform itself runs on Vercel's global edge network, with data primarily stored in the United States and the European Union through our database and storage providers. A full list of subprocessors and their regions is published in our Privacy Policy.
We sell AskZoye internationally. Customers in Pakistan are billed in Pakistani Rupees through Safepay, and customers elsewhere are billed in US Dollars through Paddle, who acts as our merchant of record for those transactions.
For non-Pakistan customers, Paddle.com Market Limited acts as the reseller and merchant of record for our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, tax calculation, invoicing, fraud prevention, and the collection and remittance of VAT, GST, and sales tax in jurisdictions where we have an obligation. The line item on your statement may therefore appear as PADDLE.NET* ASKZOYE rather than AskZoye directly.
For Pakistan customers, payments are processed by Safepay, a payment service provider authorised by the State Bank of Pakistan. Charges in PKR appear on your statement under SAFEPAY ASKZOYE.
AskZoye remains the data controller for your account and the entity providing the underlying software. Refunds, cancellations, and account questions should be raised with us at support@askzoye.com before contacting the payment processor.
AskZoye is not owned, controlled, or affiliated with any of the third-party platforms it integrates with — including Shopify, WooCommerce, OpenAI, Anthropic, Paddle, Safepay, Vercel, Neon, Inngest, and Upstash. We are an independent customer of those services and pay them like anyone else. The trademarks, logos, and product names belong to their respective owners and are referenced only to describe interoperability.
We have no undisclosed financial relationships with the providers we recommend inside the product. Where we recommend a third-party tool, it is because we use it ourselves or because it is the right fit for the merchant.
AskZoye complies with the tax and regulatory obligations of its country of operation. Where Paddle is the merchant of record, applicable VAT, GST, and sales taxes are collected and remitted by Paddle on our behalf in jurisdictions where they have a registration. For Pakistan-based transactions, AskZoye is responsible for any applicable income tax and sales tax obligations under federal and provincial law.
Registration numbers, tax identifiers, and the registered office address are available on request to verified business contacts for compliance, banking, or due-diligence purposes. Please email legal@askzoye.com from your corporate domain.
If AskZoye is ever sold, merged, or transferred to a different legal entity, we will notify active customers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The notice will explain who the new owner is, where they are based, and what (if anything) it means for your account, your data, and your billing relationship. You will have the right to cancel and export your data before the change takes effect.
Until then, the entity described above is the sole owner and operator of AskZoye.
We will keep this page accurate. If the legal entity, owner, registered office, or merchant-of-record arrangements change, we will update this page and refresh the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers.
We don't hide behind a contact form. Use the address below that fits your question best and you will reach someone who can actually help.
